Top 3 Rental Car Companies

Enterprise rent-a-car was founded in 1957 by Jack C Taylor, little did we know it would blossom to be such a successful company. Not only do they offer rentals for SUV’s, cars and trucks but they also sell cars, rent motorcycles, and rent trucks to businesses, this was a little surprising to me too at first. But, like anyone going through a loss of a vehicle (whether it be a breakdown, total loss, or just need a vehicle for a vacation) and our day to day lives make it hard to live without one I was relieved to find they offer a wide variety of solutions. We’ve all been there, having trouble getting on the road again isn't a problem with these rental car gurus on your side, you have the option to rent for just a few hours, days, or even months. I consider Enterprise to be one of those “have it your way” type of companies, let's face it who doesn't want custom-tailored options to fit all their needs.

Hertz Corporation is the biggest car-rental company in means of sales, offering discounts to seniors, offering 10% off to monthly renters, and rentals starting at $19.95, it's really a no brainer when you are trying to get the most bang for your buck. The small operation got its official company name after bought out by John Hertz, who combined it with his already established Yellow Truck, Hertz Drive-Ur-Self, manufacturing company. Since its first humble beginnings they are now located all around the world, with over 1,000 locations in North America, Europe, Latin America, Asia, Australia, Africa, the Middle East and New Zealand! Making those vacation trips an absolute breeze, so we can focus on the things most important like our families, and actually taking the time to sit back relax and enjoy!

Although now a subsidy of AVIS, Budget Rent-a-Car System INC. made it on the list, with over 800 locations in the United States and locations in the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand, the company has obviously progressed greatly, looks as if they are well on their way up! In its earlier years they started off with only ten cars but made business by offering a way lower price for their services rather than their competitors, hence came about the glorious name. Budget offers a wide array of options just like both previously listed companies, one thing that stood out to me on their website was “grab a car in 60 seconds”, what a load of relief, also they offer hybrid rentals, to cater to even the greenest of customers.
